GIS-based kinematic stability analysis in rock slopes is a rare practice geological engineering despite its immense potential to delineate unstable zones mountainous region. In this article, we have used modified technique assess the efficiency of predicting shallow landslides Himalayan mountains on regional scale. The limited use primarily due complexities involved practical application.
